The Christian Life Is a Journey
John Bunyan called it a pilgrimage. The Bible calls it a walk. Whatever you call it, one thing is certain:
We never stop growing. We never stop learning. Not until we cross the Jordan into the promised land.
Like Christian in Pilgrim’s Progress, we are all somewhere on the road — facing new terrain, new challenges, and new discoveries about Jesus, about God, and about what Kingdom living actually looks like in everyday life.
This website exists to be a companion for that journey.

A Word About This Site
My name is Eric Ackley. For over 50 years I’ve worked in Christian discipleship and drug rehabilitation ministry. I’ve walked alongside new believers finding their first steps, and alongside seasoned Christians discovering that the second half of their journey can be the most fruitful.
I’m not an academic. I’m a practitioner — someone who has learned most of what I know from sitting across from real people in real struggles, watching God do what only God can do.
This site is my attempt to pass on what I’ve learned — about Christian growth, about missions, and about the joy of discovering that your life in Christ is far more exciting than you ever imagined.
